A never ending search.
Karate is a never ending search for answers. Some you will find quickly. While others may take you years to find. In either case the most important thing is to never stop looking. It is also important not to compare your progress to theirs. For while each of us is on a similar path, we are all meant to be moving at our own pace. So there is no reason to rush. Besides karate is not a race. Instead it is a lifetimes pursuit of self exploration, and a deep examination of your own individual character.
So never be satisfied with where you are at on this journey. Alway strive to be better today than you were yesterday. Even in your old age. When you finally do lose your speed, and your flexibility, never mind. Still walk on to the best of your ability.
In the end you will be very glad that you sought the answers.
Remember: "Follow in the footsteps of great teachers."
