Short thoughts
A poet I am not.
Lately, however, a few short thoughts have jumped into my head for one reason or another.
One of the things I have discovered over the years is, that "why" something occurs, does not always have "reason" or "understanding" atttached to it, and so I have long since given up trying to find a rational reason for "why" things occur in our lives.
They just do.
Therefore, since the thought became an idea, and the idea became words, I have placed them here.
"Why" I do not know.
Perhaps time will tell.
The wind moved unseen,
The leaves moved in reply,
My eyes saw one of them,
My mind saw both.
I walk through my life,
The ant walks through his,
We both pass on the path,
Which one of us will go further.
I admired the flower,
It's face turnd to the sun,
The wind blew,
It's petals fell,
My admiration remained.
A butterfly landed beside me,
How sad it does not know karate,
Then it flew,
It landed again,
What a wonderful kata.

Some things are not meant
to be understood in your lifetime.
Part the clouds - see the way.
"The objective of karate-do is to contribute to the evolution
of the human spirit through physical and mental training."
